Dr. Saleha Suleman serves as the Assistant Vice President and Director of Admissions at TexAM University in Richardson, Texas, where she is actively guiding students through the admission process and welcoming them to join the university.

She is also the Founder and President of ENHANCE International Education (EIE) LLC, based in Texas, USA, and brings more than 25 years of leadership experience in international education and global engagement at major U.S. institutions.

Dr. Suleman has held senior leadership roles including Assistant Vice President for International Initiatives at Towson University, Assistant Vice Provost of International Affairs at the University of North Texas, and Director of International Programs & Services at the University of Central Florida, Michigan Technological University, and Metropolitan State University. In these roles, she demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing international strategic plans, recruitment and enrollment strategies, and comprehensive student services for diverse global populations.

Her international work spans over 25 countries, where she has cultivated partnerships to support graduate student recruitment, academic articulations, faculty and student exchanges, and capacity-building initiatives across Asia, Latin America, Europe, and the Middle East.

In addition to her administrative leadership, Dr. Suleman has 15 years of faculty experience at the University of Minnesota, Metropolitan State University, Augsburg College, and the University of Central Florida. She has taught a wide range of courses, including intercultural communication, women in world cultures, representation of gender, race, and class in prime-time television, and gender and communication.

Her expertise further extends to cultural competency training, curriculum internationalization, and grant development. She has collaborated with faculty and staff to secure federal and international funding for projects focused on professional development, intercultural understanding, and the establishment of English language programs in partnership with institutions abroad.

Dr. Suleman’s leadership in international education also includes founding and serving as the first president of the Maryland International Education Consortium (MIEC), where she engaged government officials, community leaders, and international education professionals to advance global initiatives. She has also contributed to professional organizations as Treasurer of Study Texas and as an active member of the Florida International Education Consortium (FIEC), the Texas International Education Consortium (TIEC), and Education for Global Learning (EGL) in Minnesota.

Through her distinguished career, Dr. Suleman has consistently championed global collaboration, intercultural exchange, and educational innovation to prepare students and institutions for success in an interconnected world.
